Elsa Calleja is a Nutritionist with a profound love for science. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Food Science from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. Currently, she works for Eli Lilly and Company as a Leader in Clinical Central Services and lives in Rochester, MI. Elsa is also pursuing her MBA at Oakland University.

With global expertise in drug development, decentralized trials, and clinical operations, Elsa champions innovation and diversity, making clinical trials more accessible and convenient for patients and their families.  She leads cross-cultural, global teams and third parties in driving innovation and process improvements that will speed medicines to patients.

Passionate about the health and wellbeing of the Latino community, Elsa addresses the social, economic, and environmental factors that impact health. As a clinical Nutritionist and Dietitian, she promotes healthy lifestyles and good food choices. Elsa is also deeply committed to mentoring and empowering Hispanic youth.
